Full Description

Stockless anchor recovered by a crane barge in Portsmouth Harbour in December 2015 during the Queen Elizabeth Class Capital Dredge Project. The anchor had a cast double girder shank and slightly curved tripping palm and weighed around two tons. It was probably made from cast steel with wrought arms. The anchor was thought to probably be mid to late 20th century in date and was probably naval.
