Summary
Small wrought iron Trotman type stocked mooring anchor with a swivelling crown and arms. Recovered by a crane barge in December 2015 during the Queen Elizabeth Class Capital Dredge Project.

Full Description
Small Trotman type anchor of mid to late 19th century date, probably made after 1860. The anchor was found on the edge of the current shipping channel and just outside of the Hamilton Bank Area of Archaeological Interest.
