Full Description
Small iron stocked anchor recovered from Portsmouth Harbour during dredging. The shank was 700mm long and had a rounded section that tapered slightly from the crown to the stock eye. The stock was missing and the shackle was attached by a large pin. The anchor was dated to between 1800 and 1950 and was probably lost while in use. Full description in project report.
