Full Description

A bowl barrow noted by Leslie Grinsell in 1938. 18 paces in diameter and 2' high. In 1969 the Ordnance Survey recorded no trace of barrows seen in this area. A 'Wessex' burial was excavated in this area in 1972. Possible that Grinsell's barrow was associated with this find. References: PHFC 14. 1938-40, p361
