Full Description
Antique shop built c1903. Designed by W. J. Walmsley. Two-storey building with clock tower situated on the corner of Castle Road and Great Southsea Street. The building was originally leased as an antique shop by Ernest Smith who died in 1922. It then became a showroom for the Ford Motor Company until it was taken over by another antique dealer, A. Fleming of Southsea, in 1941. The premises are now occupied by 'Tony Wood Hair' (2015).
