Building MPM810 - THE ROYAL RAILWAY SHELTER (BUILDING NUMBER 1/45)

Raiway shelter built c1893-1888, for the use of the Royal Family when visiting the dockyard. The shelter was moved from it's original location on the South Railway Jetty to the west quay of the North Camber in c2002.

Railway shelter built in 1888 for the use of the Royal Family when visiting the Royal Naval dockyard. Single storey open sided structure with cast iron frame, roof constructed of asphalt on wooden lining. [1]

Railway shelter built in 1893. The shelter originally stood on the edge of the South Railway Jetty. It was moved to its present location on the west quay of the North Camber c2000. [2]
