Full Description
Former railway station and waiting room built in 1887 as a shelter for the Royal family when visiting the Royal Naval Dockyard. Constructed of red brick with cast-iron columns supporting a wooden canopy. 20th century alterations. Most recently used as offices. [1] The cast-iron piers were made by Portsmouth iron founder W. H. Sperring. The building is now empty. [2]
